Blue screen of death?
Im having a problem with my PC. It keeps blue screening then rebooting before I can read the blue screen. As this occurs as im logging in i have no time to turn off the auto restart via my computer.
I initially thought the problem stemmed from my processor running at a high temp. So I fixed this by applying some artic silver 5. However this failed to fix my blue screen problem.
I’ve been told it might be something to do with some part XP missing. So should I try repair the software using the CD that you get given.
Is this the right thing to do? Or has anyone got any ideas what this may be due to??
tried to boot in safety by pressing F8. However went into boot menu but only showed me options to boot from hard drive or disc
I got to ask … have you tried the “safe mode”? if not, then, you should press readetly the F8 key when the PC starts and then select “safe mode” of the list…, If you can read the blue screen then you should post what it says…
